Midcentury tech at Addison Town Hall
This series explores our evolving relationships with technology and the future.These paintings reflect personal technologies and midcentury industrial design before it was all reduced to the dull, ubiquitous slabs of glass that now dictate our lives.
Some were based on vintage ad campaigns, while others required recreating devices in modeling software. Several were based on actual packaging from Japanese toys from the 1960s.
